WHEN AN ADDICT DOES NOT WANT HELP

Helplines and Sites

If they DO NOT want help, Contact NA , a Rehab or another drug professional. There is something called a DRUG INTERVENTION where the family confronts the addict as a group and the professional is there to immediately offer help if the addict wants it. Some states have laws where people can be forced to get help BUT until the addict wants help it is very difficult if not impossible.
